Want to eat something sweet, but don’t want to compromise ketosis, then check out this delicious keto chocolate avocado mousse recipe!
Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup stevia or any other keto friendly sweetener
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Optional toppings: berries, chopped nuts or whipped cream.
Instructions:
Cut the avocados in half, scoop out the flesh into a blender or food processor. Add the cocoa powder, coconut milk, stevia, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the blender or food processor. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides a few times to ensure everything is well combined. Taste the mousse and adjust the sweetness or cocoa flavour if needed. Transfer the mixture to serving bowls or glasses and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours to chill and firm up. Before serving you can add berries, nuts or whipped cream.
