Steak & Salsa

What's a weekend without delicious dinner? Check out this amazing steak recipe!


Prep: 15 mins Cook: 20 mins

You will need:

  • beef steak

  • tomatoes

  • bell pepper

  • onions

  • parsley

  • basil

  • olive oil

  • apple vinegar

  • salt and pepper.

Preparation:

  1. Cut tomatoes in half and scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Chop tomatoes into small dice.

  2. In a bowl, combine tomatoes, finely chopped onion and bell pepper, parsley, basil, vinegar and olive oil. Mix well and add small pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.

  3. Salt the steak on both sides. Heat the extra olive oil in a heavy-bottomed pan over a high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the steak.

  4. Cook for 2 minutes, then turn and cook a further 2-3 minutes and brown the sides as well.

  5. Remove and rest for 4 minutes on a wire rack in a warm place.

  6. Serve the steak with salsa.
